17 Diseased or injured pigs to be under veterinary care or humanely destroyed
A person who keeps pigs must ensure that, if a pig in the person's care or charge has an incurable illness or disease, serious injury or painful deformity, the pig –
is provided with appropriate veterinary care; or is humanely destroyed in accordance with regulation 16.
In the case of – a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 100 penalty units; or a natural person, a fine not exceeding 50 penalty units.
