154 Functions of Commissioner
In addition to any other functions imposed on it under this Act, the Commissioner has the following functions:
to manage, and administer, the investments of the Fund;
to advise the Minister on any matter relating to this Act that the Minister refers to the Commissioner or that the Commissioner considers may affect the operation of this Act;
to provide to the department responsible to the Minister in relation to the administration of this Act any information, available to the Commissioner, that the Secretary of the Department requests the Commissioner to provide for the purpose of enabling the determination of policy in relation to compensation for asbestos-related diseases and related matters;
any other functions that are prescribed.
