8 Effect of registration
A registered strata plan forms part of the Register.
On registration of the strata plan, the Recorder must create folios in the Register for – each of the lots created by the plan; and the common property.
The folio of the Register for each of the lots is to be issued in the name of the original proprietor and the folio for the common property is to be issued in the name of the body corporate.
The Recorder may issue certificates of title for the lots, but no certificate of title is to be issued for the common property.
