159 Registers
The Registrar – must keep the following registers:a register of driver licences; a register of motor vehicles and trailers; a register of demerit points; a register of written-off vehicles; and may maintain other registers for the purposes of the Act.
A register may be kept in the form of, or as part of, a computer database or in another form that the Registrar considers appropriate.
