39J Release of seigniory
Upon presentation of a memorandum of release for registration, the Board shall deliver up its own grant, if any, or certificate of title, if any, of the land being released, and the tenant shall deliver up the tenant’s certificate of title, if any, thereof.
The Recorder shall, after registering the release, cancel the folios of the Register kept under that Act for the Board's estate in the land and the fee farm estate, to such extent as is necessary to give effect to the release, and create a folio of that Register for the land mentioned in the release.
