13 Powers of Regulator
The Regulator has power to do all things necessary or convenient to be done in connection with, incidental to or related to the performance of the Regulator's functions under this Act.
Without limiting subsection (1), the Regulator may – develop and issue guidelines for the regulation of the water and sewerage industry – for price regulation; and for pricing principles; and for price and service plans; and for licence administration; and for annual performance reporting; and in relation to compliance by a regulated entity with the provisions of this Act and the conditions of the licence granted to the regulated entity; and enforce the compliance of regulated entities with their licence conditions and obligations, including the customer service code; and develop and issue codes; and enter into contracts.
