37 Class of domestic builder (limited to the construction of shade structures)
Sch. 9 cl. 37(1) amended by S.R. No. 115/2026 reg. 23(1).
The prescribed qualifications and the prescribed experience for registration in the class of domestic builder (limited to the construction of shade structures) are—
the successful completion of a certificate in carpentry (CPC30211) from an RTO, including the additional units of competency; and
at least one year of practical experience.
For the purposes of this clause, the additional units of competency are—
arrange building applications and approvals (CPCCBC4026A); and
produce labour and material schedules for ordering (CPCCBC4005A); and
select and prepare a construction contract (CPCCBC4003A).
