41 Preparation of whole-of-government pledge
(1)
The Minister must make a statement in respect of whole-of-government greenhouse gas emissions reductions on or before 1 August 2020.

(2)
The Minister must make further statements in respect of whole-of-government greenhouse gas emissions reductions on or before 31 October in every fifth year after 31 October 2020 up to and including 31 October 2040.
(3)
A whole-of-government pledge must relate to the period of 5 years starting on 1 January in the year following its preparation.
