39 Conditions of custodial community permit

For the purposes of section 57D(3)(b) of the Act, a custodial community permit is subject to the following conditions in addition to any conditions set out in the permit—

(a)

the prisoner is to be of good behaviour;

(b)

the prisoner must not consume alcohol;

(c)

the prisoner must not use a drug of dependence that is not prescribed for the prisoner by a registered medical practitioner;

(d)

the prisoner must comply with all lawful orders given by an escorting or supervising officer;

(e)

the prisoner may be returned to the prison if the escorting or supervising officer believes on reasonable grounds that there has been a breach of the permit or failure to comply with an order or direction given by the officer;

(f)

a copy of the permit must be retained by the prisoner when the prisoner is absent from the prison for the time period stated in the permit;

(g)

the prisoner must comply with the permit for the time period stated in the permit.
