200 Required medical fitness evidence
(1)
A certificate required as medical fitness evidence for an application for the issue or renewal of a dangerous goods driver licence must—
(a)
be issued by a registered medical practitioner who has examined the applicant, not more than 6 months before the day the application is made; and
(b)
certify that the applicant is fit to drive a road vehicle in accordance with the Assessing Fitness to Drive Medical Standards.
(2)
The Authority may, with the consent of the applicant, forward the medical fitness evidence to one or more registered medical practitioners for an opinion as to the medical fitness of the applicant to drive a road vehicle.
