157 Minimum sizes

(1)

For the purposes of the Act, the minimum size for the taking or possession of a species of fish specified in Column 2 of the Table in Schedule 24 is the size, if any, specified in Column 3 of that Table corresponding to that species of fish.

(2)

For the purposes of the Act and despite anything to the contrary in subregulation (1), the minimum size for fish of a species specified in Column 2 of the Table in Schedule 25 when taken or possessed by a holder of an access licence or a person acting on behalf of an access licence holder, is the size specified in Column 3 of that Table corresponding to that species of fish.

(3)

For the purposes of the Act, the minimum size for fish of a species of salmonid that are—

(a)

taken from the waters described in Column 2 of the Table in Schedule 26; or

(b)

possessed in, on or next to those waters—

is the size, if any, specified in Column 4 of that Table corresponding to those waters.
