162 Persons to whom the catch limits in regulation 161 do not apply
Regulation 161 does not apply to a person—
(a)
who takes or possesses fish of a species specified in that regulation in a quantity in excess of the catch limit for that species if the person—
(i)
is the holder of, or is acting on behalf of the holder of, a commercial fishery licence or a permit authorising the taking or possession of fish of that species; and
(ii)
takes or possesses the fish in accordance with the licence or permit, the Act and these Regulations; or
(b)
possesses fish received from a person specified in paragraph (a) and the fish is accompanied by a catch disposal record, fish receipt or fish movement record in respect of the fish.
