38 Nomination of complaints officer

(1)

The proprietor of a health service establishment must nominate in writing a person to receive and deal with any complaints that may be made against the health service establishment by, or on behalf of, a patient of the health service establishment.

Penalty: 50 penalty units.

(2)

The proprietor of a health service establishment must take reasonable steps to ensure that every patient and member of the staff of the health service establishment is informed of the name of the person nominated under subregulation (1) by the proprietor to receive and deal with complaints.

Penalty: 50 penalty units.
