39 Dealing with a complaint

(1)

The proprietor of a health service establishment must ensure that a complaint made against the health service establishment is responded to as soon as practicable after the complaint has been made.

Penalty: 40 penalty units.

(2)

The proprietor of a health service establishment must ensure that a complaint made against the health service establishment is dealt with as discreetly as possible in the particular circumstances.

Penalty: 40 penalty units.

(3)

The proprietor of a health service establishment must ensure that a person who makes a complaint against the health service establishment is informed of the action taken in respect of the complaint.

Penalty: 40 penalty units.
