260 Heritage Council
On the commencement day—
the old Heritage Council is taken to be the Heritage Council established under Division 1 of Part 2 of this Act; and
a person appointed as a member of the old Heritage Council under section 7 of the old Act and whose appointment is in effect immediately before that day is taken to be appointed as a member of the Heritage Council under section 10 of this Act; and
a person appointed as an alternate member of the Heritage Council under clause 5 of Schedule 1 to the old Act and whose appointment is in effect immediately before that day is taken to be appointed as an alternate member of the Heritage Council under clause 4 of Schedule 1 to this Act.
