279 Recommendations for protected zones in respect of which determinations have not been made
(1)
This section applies if a recommendation has been made under section 103 of the old Act but the Heritage Council has not made a determination under that section in respect of the recommendation before the commencement day.
(2)
Despite the repeal of the old Act, on and after the commencement day, the old Act continues to apply to the recommendation as if the old Act had not been repealed.
(3)
However, this Act applies to a determination of the Heritage Council as if it were a determination of the Heritage Council under section 49 of this Act, and the item is taken to be the applicable item in section 263.
