16 Audio and audio-visual evidence
An oath to be taken or an affirmation to be made by a witness giving evidence by audio-visual link or audio link may be administered either—
(a)
by means of the audio-visual link or audio link, in as nearly as practicable the same way as if the witness were to give evidence at the courtroom or other place where the court, tribunal or person acting judicially is sitting; or
(b)
at the direction of, and on behalf of, the court, tribunal or person acting judicially at the remote point by a person authorised by the court, tribunal or person acting judicially.
