Offence to certify certain copies of documents

In force

A person must not certify a copy of a document as a true copy of an original document if the person knows that—

(a)

the purported original document is not in fact an original document; or

(b)

the purported true copy is not in fact a true copy.

Penalty: 600 penalty units or imprisonment for 5 years or both.
