51B Definitions
In this Division—
applicable customer-facing worker has the meaning given by section 51C;
hospitality operator means an entity—
that carries on a business with the predominant purpose of selling food or beverages to customers on a retail basis; or

A fast food restaurant.
that sells food or beverages to customers on a retail basis, incidentally to or in support of other activities;
Example
A canteen operated by a school within the meaning of the Education and Training Reform Act 2006.
passenger transport service provider means—
an entity that carries passengers for a fare or other consideration, including but not limited to the following—
an entity that provides passenger services within the meaning of the Transport Integration Act 2010;
an entity that provides commercial passenger vehicle services within the meaning of the Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry Act 2017; or
an entity that provides services in connection with the carriage of passengers for a fare or other consideration; or
an entity that provides a charitable passenger service within the meaning of the Commercial Passenger Vehicle Industry Act 2017;
retail operator means an entity that carries on a business of selling or hiring goods (including by auction)—
on a retail basis; and
at premises all or part of which may be accessed by members of the public when the entity is open for trade;
retail shopping centre has the same meaning as in the Retail Leases Act 2003;
shopping centre operator means an entity that is a landlord or manager of a retail shopping centre.
