32 Appointment of a delegate
The Minister may appoint not more than 2 delegates to the Board if the Minister considers that the appointment will assist the Board to improve the performance of Triple Zero Victoria.
For the purposes of subsection (1), the Minister may have regard to any recommendations made by the Ambulance Services Minister or the Police Minister.
A delegate is not a member of the Board.
A delegate is not entitled to vote in relation to matters being considered by the Board.
In determining whether an appointment of a delegate under subsection (1) will assist the Board to improve the performance of Triple Zero Victoria, the Minister must have regard to—
the performance of Triple Zero Victoria, including its financial performance; and
the quality and safety of the services provided by Triple Zero Victoria; and
whether the Board has requested the appointment.
The Minister may appoint a delegate to the Board irrespective of whether the Board has requested the appointment.
