48O Ministerial approval
S. 48O(1) substituted by No. 85/2006 s. 32(1).
The Minister may—
S. 48O(1)(a) amended by No. 50/2010 s. 19.
on a request from the Water Holder, approve the assigning of a water allocation for the purposes of section 48L; or
on an application by a person, approve the assigning of a water allocation for the purposes of section 48M.
The Minister must not give an approval under subsection (1) for any prescribed reason.
In giving an approval under subsection (1), the Minister must have regard to any relevant rules determined under section 48P.
