29 Charging of tolls
(1)
The relevant West Gate Tunnel Corporation may request the payment of a toll for the use of a vehicle in a toll zone and any relevant toll administration fee from—
(a)
the operator of the vehicle; and
(b)
in the case that the vehicle is attached to a trailer and the operator of the vehicle cannot be identified by a tolling device, the operator of the trailer; and
(c)
the person nominated in a known user statement or a sold vehicle statement that is an effective statement.
(2)
A request for payment must—
(a)
be in writing; and
(b)
identify separately each use for which a toll or a toll administration fee is payable.
