42 Disputes in relation to payment of tolls
If the relevant West Gate Tunnel Corporation or an authorised person has notified the enforcement agency under section 41(1)(b), the enforcement agency may send, by post, a request for payment of the toll and toll administration fee payable in respect of the use of the vehicle in the toll zone to the operator of the vehicle or trailer to which the offence relates.
If the relevant West Gate Tunnel Corporation or an authorised person has notified the enforcement agency under section 41(3), the enforcement agency may send, by post, a notice of the requirement to be registered in respect of the toll zone to the operator of the vehicle or trailer concerned.
If a dispute resolution process set out in an ongoing registration agreement or established by the relevant West Gate Tunnel Corporation relating to the registration, or non-registration, at a particular time of a vehicle under this Part is in progress, proceedings (other than civil proceedings) cannot be commenced under this Part relating to the contravention of section 32(1) at that time.
