92C Regulator may request information for purposes of internal review or further application
The Regulator, for the purposes of determining an application under section 92A(1) or 92B(1), may make enquiries to, or seek information from, any person or source the Regulator thinks fit, including but not limited to—
the Director of Public Prosecutions and any employee within the meaning of the Public Administration Act 2004; and
any disciplinary or regulatory entity.
Without limiting subsection (1), the Regulator may request the applicant to provide additional information to the Regulator in relation to the application.
A request under subsection (2) must be in writing and specify—
the information to be provided; and
the date by which the information must be provided.
The Regulator may extend the time by which information must be provided under subsection (3)(b) if the Regulator is satisfied it is appropriate to do so.
If the applicant fails to provide the information requested by the Regulator under subsection (2), the Regulator may terminate the application.
