179 Exporting flora
A person must not export flora unless the flora —
(a)
was taken by a person who had lawful authority to take it; or
(b)
was supplied to the person by another person who had lawful authority to supply it.
Penalty:
(a)
if the offence involves a critically endangered species — a fine of $500 000;
(b)
if the offence involves an endangered species — a fine of $400 000;
(c)
if the offence involves a vulnerable species — a fine of $300 000;
(d)
if the offence involves specially protected flora or sandalwood — a fine of $200 000;
(e)
in any other case — a fine of $50 000.
