198 Purposes for which inspection may be carried out
A wildlife officer may carry out an inspection for one or more of the following purposes —
(a)
to search for or inspect any organism, ecological community, habitat or potential carrier or anything else prohibited, controlled, regulated or managed under this Act;
(b)
to ascertain whether this Act or any instrument entered into, given or issued under it is being contravened;
(c)
to inspect any records that are kept under or for the purposes of this Act or that are relevant to determining whether this Act or any instrument entered into, given or issued under it is being contravened;
(d)
any other purpose that is prescribed.
