29 Fauna causing damage licence
In this regulation —
biodiversity damage means a detrimental impact or potential impact on biodiversity or biodiversity components.
A fauna causing damage licence authorises the holder of the licence to take or disturb fauna that is causing, or may reasonably be expected to cause —
an impact, or potential impact, on public health or safety; or
economic damage; or
biodiversity damage; or
an impact, or potential impact, on biosecurity; or
any damage, impact or other effect specified in the licence.
A fauna causing damage licence relating to kangaroos may also authorise the holder of the licence to undertake preliminary processing in the field of kangaroos taken under the licence.
Without limiting any other provision of these regulations, a fauna causing damage licence may include a condition that requires the keeping of records, and the provision of information, about any fauna, other than fauna causing damage, incidentally taken or disturbed in exercising the power to take fauna under the licence.
