35 Fauna possessing (other purposes) licence

(1)

A fauna possessing (other purposes) licence authorises the holder of the licence to possess fauna for 1 or more of the following purposes —

(a)

education, research, study or conservation;

(b)

rehabilitating fauna for release into the wild;

(c)

any other purpose specified in the licence.

(2)

Without limiting any other provision of these regulations, the CEO guidelines may establish criteria for determining whether fauna is suitable to be held under a fauna possessing (other purposes) licence.

(3)

A fauna possessing (other purposes) licence may authorise the holder of the licence to place the fauna on display to the extent specified in the licence.
