17 Appointing people to provide reports (Act s. 139)
(1)
Unless subregulation (2) applies, a person referred to in section 139(1) is to be appointed from the panel.
(2)
If the Court considers that a report is required from a person with particular qualifications or experience and such a person is not on the panel, the Court may appoint for the purposes of section 139 a person who, in the opinion of the Court, has the necessary qualifications or experience.
