197C Questions and comments by members on co‑operative management at annual general meeting
(1)
The chairperson of an annual general meeting of a co‑operative must allow a reasonable opportunity for the members as a whole at the meeting to ask questions about or make comments on the management of the co‑operative.
Penalty for this subsection: a fine of $500.
(2)
Despite The Criminal Code section 23B(2), it is immaterial for the purposes of subsection (1) that any event occurred by accident.
