457 Inspection of registers
Subject to subsection (2) a person may —
inspect the registers kept by the Registrar, on payment of the fee, if any, prescribed by the regulations; and
inspect documents kept by the Registrar relating to a co‑operative and prescribed by the regulations, on payment of the fee, if any, prescribed by the regulations; and
obtain an extract from a register inspected under paragraph (a), on payment of the fee prescribed by the regulations; and
obtain a certified copy of a document that the person may inspect under paragraph (b), on payment of the fee prescribed by the regulations; and
obtain a copy of a document that the person may inspect under paragraph (b), on payment of the fee prescribed by the regulations.
A person who is not a member cannot inspect a membership list kept by the Registrar.
If a copy of a document or an extract of information contained in a document and recorded in a register is produced for inspection, a person is not entitled under subsection (1) to require the production of the original of that document.
On and after the day after the end of the period of 7 years beginning at the registration commencement time as defined in Schedule 3 clause 4A, this section has no effect in relation to the Register of Co‑operative Charges referred to in clause 18 of that Schedule.
