54 Licence condition: contracts
It is a condition of every retail licence and integrated regional licence that, subject to any exception provided for in the regulations, the licensee must not supply electricity to a small use customer otherwise than under —
a standard form contract; or
a non‑standard contract that complies with this Act.
It is also a condition of every retail licence and integrated regional licence that the licensee must comply with a direction given to the licensee under section 53.
For the purposes of subsection (1)(b), a non‑standard contract complies with this Act if it —
meets the requirements of the regulations in respect of such contracts; and
is not inconsistent with —
this Act or any other written law; or
any term, condition or provision of the licence concerned.
