13L Director’s guidelines
Before completing the formulation of guidelines referred to in section 13J(3) the Director must consult relevant persons in relation to the proposed guidelines to such an extent as the Director considers appropriate.
Guidelines may specify policies or standards to be observed, methods, practices and procedures to be followed, and measures to be taken with respect to inspections.
Guidelines under section 13J(3) may incorporate or adopt guidelines, standards or codes of practice made, formulated, published or issued under any law of another State or the Commonwealth, or by Standards Australia, the Australian Gas Association or any other body with such variations and modifications, if any, as the Director specifies.
