14 Offences
Any person who contravenes or fails to comply with any provision of this Act or the regulations or of any notice, direction or other requirement made or given by or under this Act or the regulations commits an offence and is liable on conviction, except where a greater penalty is provided in this Act in respect of the offence, to a penalty, in the case of an individual, of $50 000 and, in the case of a body corporate, of $250 000.
A prosecution for an offence under this Act must be commenced within 2 years after the date on which the offence is alleged to have been committed.
