12 Vacancies in Council

A councillor shall be deemed to have vacated his office if he —

(a)

dies;

(b)

declines to act as a councillor;

(c)

resigns his office in writing addressed to the President of The Trust and his resignation is accepted by The Trust;

(d)

is absent without leave of the Council from 6 consecutive ordinary meetings of the Council, of which notice has been sent to him;

(e)

being an elected councillor ceases to be a member of The Trust;

(f)

holds any office of profit under The Trust; or

(g)

in any way, otherwise than as a member and in common with other members of an incorporated company consisting of not less than 51 persons, —

(i)

becomes concerned or interested without the approval of The Trust in any contract or agreement entered into by or on behalf of The Trust;

(ii)

participates or claims to participate without that approval in the profit of any such contract or agreement.
