National Trust of Australia (W.A.) Act 1964

The affairs of The Trust and the business and management thereof shall, subject to this Act and the rules, be administered, managed and conducted by a council to be known as the Council of The National Trust of Australia (W.A.).

Subject to this Act, the Council has and may exercise and discharge the powers, authorities, duties and functions that are conferred and imposed upon the Council or The Trust by or under this or any other Act, and the Council may do and perform all such acts and things as are necessary or convenient for giving effect to the objects of The Trust.
