153 References to former Registrar

(1)

If in a written law or other document or instrument there is a reference to the former Registrar, that reference may, where the context so requires, be read as if it had been amended to be a reference to the Commissioner.

(2)

If a certificate has been given by a former Registrar under section 134(3) of the Act as it was immediately prior to commencement day, that certificate is to be treated as if it were given by the Commissioner for the purposes of that subsection.
