Ask what sentences have been imposed for a NSW offence

Name the offence and get comparable sentences, with figures Barrister AI can trace.

YOUR QUESTIONCOMPARABLE SENTENCES

You can now ask Barrister AI a plain question such as "What sentences have been imposed for armed robbery?" and get a survey of comparable sentences, without needing to cite the section.

For a listed NSW offence, Barrister AI works out the provision from the offence name and tells you it has done so. The table covers the whole section, and the answer says that too. If the offence is unclear, it does not guess.

Where we don’t yet hold verified figures, as with manslaughter, the answer says so rather than offering a number. The statutory maximum appears only where the section states one clear maximum.

The same comparables sit behind sentencing advice and submissions in Briefs. Upload the brief and Barrister AI reads the charges, works out the court and the plea, lists its assumptions so you can correct them, and builds a schedule of comparable sentences.

Barrister AI supports your judgment and doesn’t replace it. Check every authority before you rely on it.
