The fine print
What is free, what is paid, and what leaves the device.
Counsel and research credits carry across. If you already subscribe on the website, sign in and everything is there — including credits you have already bought.
You can also subscribe or top up inside the app, through Apple. Bought that way, Barrister AI Counsel Monthly is an auto-renewing subscription at A$39.99 a month on the Australian storefront, other storefronts priced by Apple and the price always shown before you buy. It renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and is managed in your Apple Account settings rather than by us.
Your saved authorities, notes and research travel to our servers over an encrypted connection so they are the same here as on the website. How long anything is held, whether it is used for training, and how your identity is kept separate from your activity are set out on the security page, and in plain English for barristers on the privilege page.
