209 Orders for restoration and prevention
If a court convicts a person, or finds a person guilty, of an offence against this Act, the court may order the person to take the steps stated in the order, within the time stated in the order (or any further time that the court, on application, may allow)—
to manage any biosecurity impact caused by the commission of the offence; or
to make good any resulting biosecurity impact; or
to prevent the continuation or recurrence of the offence.
A person commits an offence if the person—
is subject to an order under this section; and
intentionally fails to comply with the order.
Maximum penalty: 1 000 penalty units.
