71A Address of person serving sentence of imprisonment

(1)

For this part, the address of a person who is serving a sentence of imprisonment is—

(a)

if the person is enrolled on the Commonwealth roll—the address recorded on that roll in relation to the person; or

(b)

if paragraph (a) does not apply—

(i)

the person’s address immediately before the person began serving the sentence; or

(ii)

if the person did not have an address immediately before beginning to serve the sentence—the address of the place where the person is serving the sentence.

(2)

In this section:

sentence of imprisonment does not include a sentence of imprisonment served by intensive correction made by a court under the Crimes (Sentencing) Act 2005, section 11 (Intensive correction orders).
