Judicial Commissions Act 1994

If—

a commission has submitted its report in accordance with section 22; and

there are any outstanding matters connected with the exercise by the commission of its functions under this Act;

the commission must—

notify the Attorney-General that there are outstanding matters; and

for such time as is necessary, continue to exercise its powers under this Act for the purpose of finalising those matters.

When any outstanding matters have been finalised, the commission must—

notify the Attorney-General accordingly; and

commit any documents or things still in its possession to the custody of the Attorney-General for safekeeping.
