86 Tree management plans—notice of decision
The decision-maker must give written notice of the decision on a tree management plan to the applicant (if any).
If the decision is to approve the tree management plan, the decision‑maker must also give written notice of the decision to the following:
the lessee of, or custodian for, the land where the tree is located;
if the tree is on leased land—the occupier of land that—
adjoins the land where the tree is located; and
is within 50m of the tree;
for a heritage tree—the heritage council;
for an Aboriginal cultural tree—the heritage council and each representative Aboriginal organisation.
However, the decision-maker need not give more than 1 notice to a particular person.
The decision-maker may give written notice of the decision to anyone else the decision-maker considers appropriate.
