A reference in this Act to the Regulator is a reference to NOPSEMA.

Note:

See Part 6.9 (National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority) of the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage Act 2006.

A reference in this Act or the applied work health and safety provisions to the functions or powers of the Regulator does not include a reference to any functions or powers of NOPSEMA other than in its capacity as the Regulator.
