178 Powers of the Regulator
(1)
Subject to this Act, the Regulator has the power to do all things necessary or convenient to be done for or in connection with the performance of its functions.
(2)
Without limiting subsection (1), the Regulator has all the powers and functions that an OEI inspector has under this Act or the applied work health and safety provisions.
(3)
The powers of the Regulator may be exercised within or outside Australia.
