17 Agency may grant extensions

(1)

A relevant employer may, before the end of the relevant period within which the relevant employer is required to lodge with the Agency a public report under section 13B, apply to the Agency to extend the period for a further period to enable the employer to lodge the public report.

(2)

Where the Agency:

(a)

has received a request under subsection (1) to extend a period in respect of a report; and

(b)

considers that there are reasonable grounds for extending the period;

the Agency may grant an extension in respect of the report for such period, not exceeding 6 months, as the Agency thinks fit.
