Report on inspection of detention centre by officer

For the purposes of section 7 (3) of the Act, the prescribed matters that must be dealt with in a report are the following—

(a)

the physical, psychological and emotional well-being of detainees,

(b)

the social, cultural and educational development of detainees,

(c)

the general control and management of the detention centre,

(d)

the morale, conduct and functions of persons employed in the detention centre,

(e)

the condition of the premises (including the grounds, buildings, furniture, equipment and amenities) of the detention centre,

(f)

the security of the detention centre.
