Mining Act 1992

In this Part—

entitlement means—

an authority, claim or opal prospecting licence granted or deemed to be granted under the Mining Act 1973, or

an authorisation or concession granted or deemed to be granted under the Coal Mining Act 1973.

the relevant commencement means—

in relation to a provision of the Mining Act 1973 or the Coal Mining Act 1973—the date on which the provision is repealed, and

in relation to a provision of this Act—the date on which the provision commences.

A reference in this Part to the granting of an entitlement includes, in the case of a claim under the Mining Act 1973, a reference to the registration of the claim.
