Mining Act 1992

Part 5A of the Mining Act 1973 continues to apply to a draft consolidated mining lease prepared under section 111C of that Act before the relevant commencement as if this Act had not been enacted.

Any consolidated mining lease granted under Part 5A of the Mining Act 1973 as a consequence of the operation of subclause (1) is taken to have been granted under Part 6 of this Act.

Part 4A of the Coal Mining Act 1973 continues to apply to a draft consolidated coal lease prepared under section 82C of that Act before the relevant commencement as if this Act had not been enacted.

Any consolidated coal lease granted under Part 4A of the Coal Mining Act 1973 as a consequence of the operation of subclause (3) is taken to have been granted under Part 6 of this Act.
