262.12 262–12 NSW rule: Equipment on an electric scooter
A person must not ride an electric scooter that does not have a bell, horn, or similar warning device, in working order.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units.

This rule is an additional NSW rule. There is no corresponding rule in the Australian Road Rules.
